I think that besides of the hard problems of each division, the other problems were the perfect anti-editorial storm. Actually easy problems, with difficult proofs...
I think that the proof for div2 500 is currently really poor. To add insult to injury, the div1 250 explanation relies on it. I will hopefully improve it when I am feeling better - currently my brain is at 50% capacity.
